Internet support

Education ICT act as the technical helpdesk for the Bradford Learning Network and provide support to schools using the BLN’s services. We work closely with Smoothwall and Virgin Media Business to provide schools with a safe browsing experience and secure and reliable internet connections. 

We work to ensure that schools are able to utilise the services and learning resources that they require whilst providing protection from unsuitable or offensive websites and unauthorised access to internal systems and private data.

Our knowledgeable staff are able to provide support on a range of issues, from managing web filtering and processing firewall change requests and DNS changes, to troubleshooting connection issues and advanced configuration of Smoothwall devices. We are also able to generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports on all aspects of internet usage, as well as create automated alerts and reports in line with current safeguarding guidelines.
